Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements.
- Design, develop, modify, debug, and integrate complex software systems.
- Develop algorithms, database queries, and data repository interfaces.
- Review and test software components, execute test procedures, and document results.
- Resolve software problem reports and correct defects or performance issues.
- Prepare software and system documentation and recommend improvements to development processes.
- Provide software input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, reuse, and COTS/GOTS evaluations.
Requirements
- Seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four additional years of comparable software engineering experience in place of the degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph.
- Ability to analyze requirements, develop software and algorithms, work with databases, and perform software testing and documentation.
