Base Salary
$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and operate cloud-native services for OCI infrastructure planning and capacity management.
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, workflow components, and automation for business-critical operational processes.
- Develop software that processes infrastructure, operational, and planning data at scale.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, analytics, forecasting, reporting, and operational visibility capabilities.
- Collaborate with product managers, technical program managers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders on technical solutions.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Diagnose production issues and improve monitoring, observability, reliability, system performance, and operational automation.
- Integrate with infrastructure, inventory, planning, sourcing, and capacity-management systems.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and daily collaboration.
- Participate in on-call rotations and production support activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience delivering production services or applications.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Go, C#, or a similar modern programming language.
- Experience developing backend services, APIs, or cloud-native applications.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, testing, debugging, and system design.
- Experience with relational and/or distributed databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, source control, monitoring, and observability.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, scalable backend services, workflow applications, data engineering, data pipelines, ETL, streaming platforms, or operational analytics.
- Preferred familiarity with infrastructure planning, capacity management, data center operations, hardware lifecycle management, or supply-chain workflows.
- Preferred experience with OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as Kubernetes, containers, microservices, cloud-native deployment practices, Oracle APEX, or low-code application frameworks.
