Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert for one or more DTCC applications.
- Work with business system analysts to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
- Research and evaluate technical solutions consistent with DTCC standards.
- Design components and programs, construct applications, and perform functional and unit testing.
- Tune application performance and troubleshoot development and production issues.
- Support development teams with testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and improved ways of working.
- Apply software development methodologies based on project needs.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- In-depth expertise in software development methodologies, tools, programming languages, and application development practices.
- Ability to collaborate with business partners, external clients, infrastructure teams, architects, product managers, project managers, and end users.
- Ability to stay current in the relevant specialist area and coach others.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and team-building capabilities.
