Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Deliver customer-facing features and platform capabilities from design to production.
- Build reliable services, APIs, and web experiences while improving existing systems.
- Contribute to AI-powered workflows using modern LLM tooling.
- Make technical tradeoffs across performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, ML, and platform teams.
- Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales.
Requirements
- 18 months+ of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience developing features across backend services, APIs, and web applications.
- Ability to independently own moderately complex projects.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable code and reviewing peer code.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in AI-native development, including LLMs.
