Base Salary
$86k - $121k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled applications, machine learning services, APIs, and enterprise software solutions.
- Build software using artificial intelligence, machine learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and related capabilities.
- Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions with product, data science, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Implement secure, maintainable software and participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning.
- Contribute to AI model integration, prompt engineering, model evaluation, testing, monitoring, and deployment.
- Develop automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot software, AI, integration, and platform issues and support production operations, incident response, and defect resolution.
- Evaluate AI frameworks, libraries, cloud services, and engineering tools and contribute to documentation, user training, and knowledge sharing.
- Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Security, Privacy, and Compliance teams on reliable and compliant software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Typically 3–5 years of professional software development experience, including enterprise applications or AI-enabled software solutions.
- Experience developing software with Python and one or more of Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Preferred experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, or similar technologies.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP; APIs; microservices; containers; CI/CD; source control; automated testing; databases; data engineering; and software integration.
- Working knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, Generative AI, and modern AI development techniques.
- Preferred experience in healthcare, biotechnology, diagnostics, life sciences, or regulated environments.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, secure software development, HIPAA, FDA-regulated software environments, software validation, and data integrity principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, ownership, and adaptability skills.
