Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Implement UI from designs and specifications while refining usability and visual details.
- Develop reusable UI components and contribute to consistent product UI patterns.
- Integrate front-end features with back-end services and REST APIs, including loading, error, and empty states.
- Test, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize front-end applications for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Collaborate with product designers, product managers, back-end engineers, QA, and product teams to ship iterative improvements.
- Apply security and privacy best practices when handling user data.
Requirements
- At least B2-level English proficiency with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- BS/MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
- 7+ years of industry experience as a Front-End Engineer building web applications.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Strong product and design sensibility with the ability to make thoughtful UI/UX decisions when designs are incomplete or evolving.
- Understanding of component architecture, maintainable front-end patterns, API integration, and real-world edge cases.
- Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and workflows such as Vite and Webpack.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, collaboration, problem-solving, and ability to work autonomously.
- Experience with automated testing, design systems or component libraries, and Figma or similar design tools is a plus.
- Business-oriented mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment are preferred.
