Responsibilities

  • Design and develop end-to-end applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL.
  • Build and consume APIs and microservices while maintaining code quality through testing and reviews.
  • Build, manage, and deploy CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Pipeline.
  • Implement containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Dynatrace.
  • Own the application lifecycle from design and build through deployment, operation, and optimization.
  • Support release management and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and database issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, platform teams, and delivery teams.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, microservices, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience across both software development and DevOps, with ownership of build-and-run activities.
  • Ability to work across application, infrastructure, and data layers and solve technical problems across them.
  • Knowledge of Git, extension strategies, Agile/Scrum delivery, secure coding, and basic application security practices.
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Desirable: Spring framework experience, advanced PostgreSQL features such as row-level security and performance tuning, telecom/OSS/GIS domain exposure, API security, RBAC models, and SRE/reliability engineering practices.
