Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable production software solutions.
  • Review and debug code written by other engineers while establishing secure coding, peer review, and automated testing standards.
  • Lead adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve software and application stability.
  • Lead evaluations of vendor, startup, and internal architectural designs and technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced experience with one or more of Java, React, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, Kafka, Cassandra, AWS, and AI.
  • Experience leading responsible adoption of AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security, and compliant AI use in engineering workflows.
  • Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and practical cloud-native experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
