Base Salary
$116k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and monitor AWS security controls for cloud compute, network, storage, and end-user infrastructure.
- Provide security engineering, posture management, and threat detection support across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
- Operationalize infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code to automate security guardrails, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks.
- Architect, configure, tune, and maintain SSE policies protecting corporate data and governing cloud applications.
- Partner with the SOC on cloud security incident investigations, automated remediation playbooks, threat hunting, and threat modeling.
- Build automated compliance pipelines that prevent non-compliant code and infrastructure from reaching production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience is required for the Staff level; 10 years is required for the Lead level.
- Equivalent combinations of education and related experience may be considered.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, CloudTrail, KMS, Macie, and Network Firewall.
- Technical competency with Azure Entra ID and Microsoft Defender for Cloud, GCP Security Command Center and IAM, and OCI Identity and Access Management and Cloud Guard.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation and policy-as-code frameworks including Open Policy Agent/Rego, CloudFormation Guard, or HashiCorp Sentinel.
- Understanding of cloud routing, VPC/VNet peering, CASB, SWG, and ZTNA concepts.
- Preferred qualifications include hands-on SASE/SSE deployment, CSPM and continuous-compliance experience, and relevant AWS, cloud security, incident response, or information security certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, CCSP, CISSP, CISM, GIAC certifications, CCIPS, CNDA, or CNPS.
