Base Salary

$157k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy security monitoring controls focused on blockchain security.
  • Build and maintain resilient, performant, and scalable security tooling using API-first, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
  • Engineer and operate delivery pipelines with automated testing, code-quality checks, dependency scanning, secrets scanning, and policy gates.
  • Define and execute secure SDLC practices, including threat modeling, secure code review, vulnerability remediation, and secure configuration standards.
  • Integrate blockchain-related security telemetry and operational requirements with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship through design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best-practice adoption.
  • Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, code and security recommendations, and documentation.
  • Support production reliability through operational readiness, incident triage, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform technical evaluations during proof-of-concept and vendor assessments and provide subject-matter expertise for architecture and product decisions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience engineering a security analytics platform such as Splunk or an equivalent platform in a large-scale or global enterprise.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Command of a programming or scripting language for automation and integration tasks.
  • Expert understanding of security analytics data management, including ingestion, parsing, and normalization.
  • Understanding of organizational cybersecurity practices, risk management, security architecture, and engineering.
  • Experience working in an Agile team environment with at least one common Agile framework.
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in security engineering workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations and ensure alignment with security, resiliency, and auditability expectations.
  • Understanding of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics related to financial-industry cybersecurity.
