Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Python cloud-native microservices supporting AI foundation models and agentic workflows at scale.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Azure AKS, IAM, Redis, and messaging systems.
- Apply infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD automation to support deployment and production readiness.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, designers, and program managers on technical designs and mission solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of professional experience delivering machine-learning solutions, including code for services, servers, distributed systems, backend architecture, AI, machine learning, or computer vision.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with REST APIs, backend services, Docker, Azure cloud services, scalable distributed systems, and geospatial workflows or datasets.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required; TS/SCI is preferred but not required.
- U.S. citizenship is required for the government contract.
