Base Salary
$85k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate secure and scalable cloud services and APIs.
- Own features end to end, including technical design, implementation, deployment, and production support.
- Build solutions involving APIs, data processing, authentication and authorization, data synchronization, and asynchronous workflows.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to unit, integration, and automated test coverage.
- Implement telemetry, logging, and alerts; monitor service health and diagnose production issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation, live-site support, production investigations, and service reliability improvements.
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews and collaborate with engineers, program managers, and partner teams.
- Apply engineering standards, security and compliance practices, and approved AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline with coding experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree plus 1+ year of technical engineering experience, a related master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing, testing, and debugging software in a professional or production environment.
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with C# or .NET applications.
- Experience designing and building REST APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
- Experience with Azure or comparable cloud platforms, databases, messaging or queueing systems, cloud-native architectures, containers, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth, Microsoft Entra ID, or role-based access control.
- Experience with Git, automation, DevOps practices, monitoring, telemetry, or live-site operations.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background check and other applicable security screening requirements.
- Ability to learn technologies quickly, solve problems, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and complete defined tasks with appropriate guidance.
