Responsibilities
- Review Figma designs, prototypes, design systems, user flows, and content structures to identify localisation and implementation risks early.
- Perform linguistic, functional, visual, and internationalisation QA across multiple languages, platforms, products, and regions.
- Build software, automation, integrations, reusable services, and validation tools that improve localisation and product quality.
- Develop test strategies, quality standards, design-validation workflows, and early lifecycle quality practices.
- Investigate complex localisation and internationalisation issues, determine root causes, and coordinate solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Prototype and scale automation, plugins, APIs, AI agents, assistants, or other workflow tools that reduce manual effort and accelerate feedback.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship while influencing design, engineering, product, and localisation teams toward shift-left quality practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Design Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, design technology, quality engineering, localisation engineering, or related product development roles.
- Strong hands-on software development experience building tools, systems, integrations, or automation.
- Experience with design teams and Figma workflows, including design, prototype, component-system, and user-journey review before implementation.
- Experience validating Figma designs for quality, scalability, localisation readiness, and implementation feasibility.
- Practical knowledge of localisation and internationalisation principles and experience testing multilingual products, platforms, or regions.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Experience building or experimenting with AI agents, plugins, copilots, or intelligent workflow tools.
- Experience with APIs, structured data, system integrations, and modern software development practices.
- Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence, plus understanding of the product development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and cross-functional delivery.
- Preferred qualifications include Figma design-system or plugin experience, multilingual product or translation-workflow experience, and experience in video games, consumer technology, digital entertainment, or large-scale products.
- Fluency in one or more non-English languages is preferred.
