Responsibilities

  • Design, improve, and maintain secure, highly available cloud infrastructure platforms.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code, cloud lifecycle management, capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.
  • Automate operational activities, build CI/CD pipelines, and develop self-healing and automated remediation capabilities.
  • Create observability dashboards, metrics, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve service health and reliability.
  • Support security, regulatory, governance, vulnerability remediation, risk management, and mitigation planning.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, networking, and infrastructure teams and provide technical guidance on reliability practices.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, operational frameworks, platform strategy, and cloud-native practices.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments using AWS or Azure.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
  • 3+ years of Linux and/or Windows Server administration experience.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, routing, firewalls, cloud security best practices, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and other observability solutions.
  • Preferred experience with large-scale distributed systems, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, cloud-native architectures, API-driven systems, FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and capacity management.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, ITIL Foundation, and Terraform Associate.
