Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MetaDefender Drive using C++ on Linux.
- Build secure, high-performance software for endpoint and critical infrastructure protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot features.
- Research and prototype new technologies and proof-of-concepts.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining security and code quality.
- Build or integrate AI-powered tools and workflows to improve engineering efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional C++ software development experience.
- Strong Linux development knowledge, including shell scripting, kernel concepts, U-Boot, and Yocto.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases, and debugging.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic into products or internal tools.
- Experience with Windows and cross-platform development is preferred.
- Experience building AI-powered automation or agents using MCP or similar frameworks is preferred.
