Base Salary
$140k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale software frameworks for research algorithms across embedded systems, mobile platforms, desktop applications, and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize complex software systems using C++ and Python, including distributed processing and third-party library integration.
- Lead community efforts to maintain quality open-source software on GitHub, GitLab, VIAME, and Telesculptor.
- Review and oversee other developers’ code and contribute to computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence projects.
- Collaborate with customers and participate in field tests and demonstrations when applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience, or a master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant subject with at least 3 years of experience.
- Significant C++ experience and Python experience.
- Experience integrating third-party libraries, distributed processing or computing, complex software system design, and code optimization.
- Leadership experience reviewing and overseeing others’ code development.
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with additional programming languages, GPU-based development, computer vision applications, CMake, CDash, MS Visual Studio, GCC, make, Xcode, Unix, Linux, MacOS, Windows, large open-source projects, and AI tools, frameworks, and techniques.
