Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and document product features for embedded and driver software products.
  • Collaborate with product architects, product managers, software engineers, and project leaders on designs and code architecture.
  • Specify, implement, and troubleshoot product features and defects.
  • Develop tests to maintain code quality and prevent regressions.
  • Review peer code changes and participate in team standups, backlog reviews, retrospectives, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Explore new technologies to improve infrastructure and development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming.
  • Understanding of software design, computer architecture, operating system components, data structures, and embedded, kernel, or low-level hardware/software integration.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and Agile methodology.
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues, propose solutions, work independently, take ownership, and drive projects to completion.
  • Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Azure DevOps, LabVIEW, and NI products.
