Responsibilities

  • Develop software for equipment control, automation, and data acquisition.
  • Implement C++ applications and Qt-based user interfaces.
  • Integrate sensors, cameras, motion stages, and other hardware devices.
  • Participate in software testing, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Support system setup, hardware troubleshooting, cable fabrication, and wiring when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience developing software in Linux environments and familiarity with Qt for UI design and visualization.
  • Experience with sensors, cameras, motion stages, or other hardware interfaces.
  • Understanding of real-time programming, multithreading, and concurrency.
  • Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with unit-testing frameworks, including preferred experience with GoogleTest.
  • Experience with hardware setup, cable fabrication, or system integration.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Mechatronics or Robotics, advanced C++ with CMake and Eigen, CUDA concepts, industrial communication protocols, and AWS S3 or EC2 experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced engineering environments.
