Responsibilities
- Identify, document, and validate defects; monitor fixes and support high-quality releases.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for distributed, large-scale systems.
- Implement and enhance test automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, SecOps, and product teams on platform reliability, quality, and performance.
- Perform system-level debugging, log analysis, and root-cause investigation.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions and provide input on testability and quality improvements.
- Document and maintain traceable test cases and results integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4 to 8 years of professional experience in automation testing using Java with TestNG.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Experience testing distributed systems, data pipelines, or data platforms.
- Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting, with proficiency in Python and Java test automation.
- Experience with JUnit, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, or Pytest.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Understanding of system-level debugging, log analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of relational databases and integrating SQL queries into test automation.
- Familiarity with Cassandra, Kafka, or Redis is a plus.
- Experience with JIRA, Git, and Zephyr.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and collaborative communication skills.
