Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core features of the Alamo software platform.
- Develop scalable web applications and APIs using Typescript and NextJS.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and business teams to deliver solutions.
- Architect systems and implement workflows across various modules.
- Leverage AI tools to increase development velocity and prototype capabilities.
- Review code, mentor teammates, and drive best practices for code quality.
- Take ownership of projects from concept to production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a track record of building end-to-end products.
- Deep proficiency with Typescript and modern full stack frameworks like NextJS and React.
- Experience designing and scaling distributed backend systems.
- Proven ability to architect complex systems and create reliable software.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop with AI tools for prototyping.
- Knowledge of DevOps and cloud infrastructure best practices is a plus.
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred.
