Base Salary
$190k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve production AI agent systems for Bee.
- Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and workflows.
- Contribute to agent development practices including prompt management and response schema design.
- Build evaluation tooling and feedback loops for AI systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to translate opportunities into features.
- Assess AI outputs for quality, safety, and bias while ensuring human oversight.
- Contribute to technical direction and code quality standards.
- Demonstrate ownership and adapt quickly to evolving priorities.
Requirements
- Typically requires 6–8 years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong experience in building and operating scalable backend systems.
- Deep expertise in Python development.
- Experience with AI-powered product experiences or backend systems.
- Comfortable with schema-validated LLM interactions and production safeguards.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems independently.
- Experience using experimentation and monitoring to improve system quality.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.
