Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year technical roadmap for the Merchant Fraud Prevention group.
- Design and evolve high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems for real-time transaction processing.
- Partner with engineering leadership to evaluate organizational health and identify bottlenecks.
- Shape the strategic roadmap in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Standardize engineering practices across multiple fraud-focused teams.
- Mentor senior engineers and cultivate a culture of peer review and psychological safety.
- Collaborate with Data Science and ML Engineering to support rapid model deployment.
Requirements
- Proven track record of defining long-term technical strategy and architectural thinking.
- Extensive experience in designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of security-by-design principles related to KYC and regulated data handling.
- Experience in building production-grade interfaces powered by AI technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams.
