Responsibilities
- Own test activities for assigned projects in an Agile development environment.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to refine backlog items and create acceptance criteria.
- Establish automation testing strategies and develop and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks using NUnit, C#, .NET, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Use SQL skills for REST API testing.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Developers on product design and test approaches.
- Organize and maintain test script libraries for assigned applications.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies, pair programming, and peer reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- At least five years of experience with automation testing frameworks for APIs and UI.
- At least three years of C# and .NET experience, including LINQ, generics, and .NET 6.
- At least three years of T-SQL experience with the ability to write complex queries.
- Experience in Agile development within a .NET environment, QA practices, test plans, test harnesses, test scripts, and script execution and reporting.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, APIs, services, deployments, .NET architecture, and configuration files.
- Knowledge of Postman, Azure DevOps, Git, Agile and Scrum, user stories, and test case management.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure Pipelines, ORM technologies such as Dapper and Entity Framework, SpecFlow, load testing with JMeter, NeoLoad, or LoadRunner, behavior-driven acceptance criteria, and payments industry experience.
