
Senior Software Developer (AI Agent Developer)
Bosch GlobalResponsibilities
- Design and develop autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents using modern agent frameworks.
- Build scalable backend microservices, asynchronous workers, and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Design and optimize relational and non-relational database schemas, queries, and data storage layers for AI workflows.
- Integrate Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, internal data lakes, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search into agent and RAG workflows.
- Build and maintain multi-agent systems, LLM workflows, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and knowledge management systems.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, ERP, CRM, procurement, and workflow platforms.
- Create tools, plugins, and function-calling capabilities that enable agents to execute business actions.
- Implement prompt engineering, reasoning workflows, memory management, and agent orchestration strategies.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, privacy, and governance requirements.
- Monitor and optimize agent performance, accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI automation opportunities.
- Document architecture, deployment procedures, and technical designs, while staying current with generative AI and agentic AI developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong Python proficiency, including hands-on asynchronous service development with FastAPI.
- Database expertise covering data modeling, indexing, and query optimization across relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Blob Storage.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI solutions, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
- Experience with code-first AI agent and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or LangChain.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
- Experience with Docker and deploying applications to OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred: experience building enterprise AI solutions and knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Preferred: understanding of AI governance, Responsible AI, and model evaluation frameworks.
- Preferred: Azure AI Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
- Preferred: knowledge of Next.js or ReactJS.
