Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications for Securities Lending Technology using Java, Scala, and Angular.
- Own changes across the full software development lifecycle from inception through production deployment.
- Work directly with business stakeholders and global technology teams to deliver functionality and respond to client-service queries.
- Apply testing practices and development best practices to identify process gaps and improve scalability, stability, and delivery quality.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with remotely distributed regional teams and multiple applications.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of application development experience using Java or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with Spring and test tools such as JUnit, JBehave, Cucumber, and Concordion.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as DB2 and working knowledge of Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, and Unix.
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and a track record of high-quality deliverables.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with global teams.
- Financial-services experience, preferably in equity, prime brokerage, equity swaps, or securities lending, is preferred.
- Scala experience, self-direction, teamwork, and a strong client-service orientation are preferred.
