Responsibilities
- Design and build network security products including Firewall, Anti-DDoS, WAF, and NDR solutions.
- Develop customized and internally built network security solutions for ByteDance businesses to meet compliance and security requirements.
- Support network security products for internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant major.
- Five years of software development experience in the cybersecurity domain.
- Strong understanding of networking and protocols including NAT, VXLAN, BGP, DNS, HTTP, L7-proxy, Thrift, and FTP.
- Good understanding of DPDK or eBPF.
- Proficiency in C and Go with a strong background in Linux systems.
- Experience building AI/ML models or training or fine-tuning LLMs.
- Firewall or WAF development experience is preferred.
- Threat detection analysis experience with Spark SQL is preferred.
