Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain AI-assisted utilities for repository indexing, code summarization, dependency extraction, log parsing, and documentation generation.
- Configure AI development environments, test prompts, compare model outputs, and document repeatable software-development workflow patterns.
- Create scripts and lightweight services integrating Git repositories, CI/CD logs, issue trackers, documentation stores, and internal model endpoints.
- Prepare codebase summaries, service notes, build observations, glossary entries, and structured evidence templates for software handovers.
- Test approved open-source, open-weight, and Chinese coding models and document their strengths, limitations, risks, and practical usage guidance.
- Review AI-generated outputs with senior engineers, correct inaccuracies, and improve workflow quality.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps automation, data engineering, AI tooling, or platform-adjacent development.
- Good Python skills and willingness to work across APIs, scripting, developer tooling, documentation, testing, and lightweight automation services.
- Basic understanding of Git, CI/CD, Linux, containers, cloud platforms, and software architecture documentation.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, LLM APIs, local model experimentation, or RAG-style development is strongly preferred.
- Readiness to deepen OpenStack knowledge and carefully validate AI-generated findings rather than over-trusting them.
- Strong documentation habits, curiosity, structured communication, and willingness to escalate unclear findings.
