Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage the lifecycle of an AWS-based data integration platform using Cloudera DataHub and Apache NiFi.
- Design and improve secure CI/CD pipelines for middleware and integration services.
- Define and enforce infrastructure-as-code standards using CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and Terraform.
- Establish monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting practices with CloudWatch, Fluentd, Grafana, and OpenSearch.
- Implement security-by-design practices including IAM governance, encryption, compliance controls, and vulnerability management.
- Lead troubleshooting and performance optimization for high availability and complex integration issues.
- Provide 3rd-level on-call support and improve automation, runbooks, and incident response processes.
- Optimize AWS architecture for cost, performance, and reliability while mentoring DevOps engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering managing production cloud platforms, with strong AWS expertise.
- Experience leading engineering initiatives, influencing architecture decisions, and promoting DevOps practices across teams.
- Strong Linux administration and CI/CD experience, including tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
- Deep infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
- Advanced Python and Bash skills for operations automation, tooling, and platform reliability.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/EKS, container management, and high-availability environments.
- Ability to design reusable patterns, frameworks, and reference architectures for hybrid or cloud integration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in international, cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English.
