Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents using large language models, tool-use frameworks, and SAP Business AI capabilities.
- Validate AI agent proof-of-concepts by measuring task completion accuracy, latency, cost, and safety guardrails.
- Build and deploy AI models into scalable production APIs on SAP’s Business Technology Platform.
- Participate in design, coding, testing, production release, and other software development life cycle activities.
- Explore emerging AI and technology trends aligned with SAP’s strategy.
- Collaborate as part of a global team and IT delivery unit.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Java or JavaScript, and React.js.
- Ability to stay current with AI industry trends.
- Familiarity with interoperability protocols such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) or A2A (Agent-to-Agent).
- Hands-on knowledge of prompt engineering, data pipelines, and coding standards for LLM application development.
- Good written and oral English communication skills, along with independent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
- Exposure to an agent orchestration framework such as LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with agentic AI patterns, tool use, ReAct loops, planning, memory management, multi-step task orchestration, and agile development tools is preferred.
