Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable distributed backend services using modern .NET technologies.
- Architect integrations between digital banking platforms, payment systems, identity providers, and core banking applications.
- Lead technical design discussions and influence architecture decisions.
- Build resilient microservices supporting high-volume financial transactions.
- Review architecture and code to maintain high engineering standards.
- Mentor senior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Modernize legacy systems into cloud-native distributed platforms.
- Collaborate with solution architects, product managers, UX designers, engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Extensive experience building enterprise applications with C# and .NET.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures.
- Strong experience designing scalable REST APIs and asynchronous messaging solutions.
- Experience with distributed application frameworks such as MassTransit.
- Experience designing cloud-native applications on Azure.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and enterprise data modeling.
- Advanced understanding of UI/UX design principles and backend architecture's role in user experiences.
- Experience working in Agile engineering environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with architects and business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes CQRS, dependency injection with Autofac, Java Spring Boot, AngularJS, front-end or full-stack development, event-driven architecture, distributed messaging, banking or financial-services platforms, and identity and authentication systems.
