Responsibilities
- Maintain and modernize legacy Java systems while preserving existing functionality.
- Develop new features based on business requirements for the Player Journey platform.
- Write comprehensive tests for new and existing functionality.
- Debug reported issues and perform root cause analysis for critical bugs.
- Monitor and optimize application and database performance using profiling and monitoring techniques.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain software quality standards.
Requirements
- Approximately 3 years of full-stack development experience or several years of Java development experience.
- Strong Java backend development and React with TypeScript frontend development skills.
- Expertise in application performance and database query optimization.
- Knowledge of scalable software design patterns and development best practices.
- Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy systems.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools and profiling techniques.
- Knowledge of Hibernate, JDBC, MariaDB, Kafka, Docker, Maven, Git, Redux, ES2020, HTML5, SCSS, Material UI, Webpack, and Jest.
- Strong collaboration, self-motivation, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
