Responsibilities
- Develop and improve search systems using NLP, computer vision, multimodal learning, information retrieval, and deep learning.
- Apply NLP technologies including word segmentation, named entity recognition, text and multimodal pre-training, query analysis, and relevance modeling.
- Build cross-modal matching and semantic retrieval capabilities for multimodal video search.
- Develop large-scale streaming machine learning systems for search personalization and recommendation.
- Research and build distributed, high-availability, high-throughput, and low-latency online services and optimize offline computing, performance, and scheduling.
- Develop and innovate search recommendation systems using ultra-large-scale machine learning.
Requirements
- Completing or recently completed a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficient coding skills in C++, Python, or Java, with strong algorithms and data structures knowledge.
- Solid knowledge of machine learning and practical experience applying it.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Modeling experience in one or more of advertising, search engines, recommender systems, NLP, or computer vision.
- Strong foundation and practical experience in single-modal or multimodal LLM application and deployment.
- Strong publication record in top conferences or journals such as ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, CVPR, ICCV, or ECCV.
