Base Salary
$115k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build data-driven and model-driven features for advertising campaign execution.
- Scale distributed applications and infrastructure for the Buyercloud ad-serving platform.
- Optimize algorithms and software architectures for performance and cloud hosting costs.
- Support and extend observability systems to capture and alert on issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations and serve as an escalation contact for service incidents.
- Write systems documentation, playbooks, and instructional manuals.
- Work effectively with team members across multiple locations and time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Significant experience with compiled languages, including C++, Java, Rust, or Go.
- Deep understanding of building systems at scale.
- Experience optimizing performance, scaling systems, and modeling data.
- Strong understanding of software architecture.
- Experience working in a Linux ecosystem.
- Ability to work onsite four days per week in Englewood, Colorado and accommodate nights, weekends, or variable schedules when necessary.
Benefits
- Base pay is listed within a Colorado range of $114,985.89–$172,478.83, with an additional Virginia range of $114,985.89–$180,318.78.
