Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop reliable C++ flight software controlling spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules throughout the mission.
- Write structured bare-metal, RTOS-based, or Linux-based software for embedded processors.
- Own software design, development, testing, verification, validation, and integration.
- Scope projects, capture requirements, and perform initial design trades for open-ended problems.
- Support software quality and performance through testing, verification, and validation techniques.
- Collaborate with teammates to communicate and solve problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
- At least 5 years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
- Strong C++ development experience and understanding of C++ language concepts.
- Preferred: end-to-end experience building and launching a spacecraft.
- Preferred: experience developing and testing real-time embedded systems and safety-critical aerospace software.
- Preferred: experience with CCSDS telemetry and telecommand systems, F' or cFS, Python or Rust, basic analog and digital electronics, and SPI, I2C, CAN, or EtherCAT.
