Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, validate, and verify lifecycle-balanced information system security solutions.
- Co-lead Product Security Engineers implementing cybersecurity features on satellite vehicles and RMF processes for embedded computing systems.
- Evaluate resilient satellite network operations and implement cryptographic keying techniques.
- Analyze product assets, risks, threats, and vulnerabilities against industry, professional, and government standards.
- Oversee product security and resiliency across requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support.
- Develop and enhance product security requirements and architectures to meet certification and customer requirements.
- Define product security requirements for supplier components and subsystems.
- Coordinate security activities with system administrators, network and software engineers, test and validation engineers, and program management.
- Perform Accreditation and Authorization activities under JSIG, DoD, and NISPOM requirements.
- Advise senior leadership, customers, governments, suppliers, and industry stakeholders on product security risks, standards, and technical solutions.
- Define complex research and development activities resulting in innovative security solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a directly related non-U.S. equivalent qualification.
- 10 or more years of systems engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with spacecraft, payloads, ground systems, and/or space mission systems.
- At least 5 years of software integration with hardware, firmware, and other software, including coordination with interfacing technical teams.
- At least 10 years of technical implementation experience in classified and unclassified environments, preferably involving large-scale digital or business transformations, system integrations, infrastructure and operations, cybersecurity, or networking.
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- DoD 8140 (8570) Security+ certification is preferred.
- Experience with space and ground systems security architectures, satellite system integration or operations, and launch system integration and operations is preferred.
- Experience with Program Protection Implementation Plans and Anti-Tamper Plans is preferred.
- 14 or more years of systems engineering and cyber experience is preferred.
