Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend components for embedded UI systems using modern C# and/or C++.
- Apply object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures to build modular, scalable, and maintainable software.
- Contribute to software architecture discussions and technical decisions.
- Collaborate with architects, firmware, DevOps, and test engineers on integrated solutions.
- Translate complex technical and scientific requirements into robust implementations.
- Implement automated testing strategies and support test-driven development.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, build and integration activities, and deployment workflows.
- Apply secure coding practices aligned with regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.
- Participate in agile development processes, including SAFe where applicable.
- Work independently on complex problems while mentoring less experienced engineers.
- Improve code quality, development processes, and tooling, including through AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- Strong experience in backend software development, preferably with C#; C++ and Python are also relevant.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience developing modular, maintainable, and scalable software systems.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and modern development workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in agile development environments; SAFe experience is a plus.
- Understanding of distributed systems or embedded environments is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and English-language skills.
- Interest in using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
