Responsibilities
- Invent signals to improve search personalization.
- Train models that capture interactions among ranking-system signals.
- Design methods to domain-adapt language models to customer corpora.
- Combine LLMs with search engines to answer complex questions.
- Write robust, maintainable, and testable code.
- Interact with customers and collaborate cross-functionally to solve impactful problems.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team learning.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, science, or a related field.
- Experience with search, recommendation systems, natural language processing, or other large-scale machine learning systems.
- Strong analytical and data skills.
- Ability to design, build, and ship production-ready models.
- Proficiency with an ML framework of choice.
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
- Ability to work in a customer-focused, cross-functional environment and take ownership.
