Base Salary
$256k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for enterprise-grade products.
- Drive technical vision and architectural roadmaps for complex projects.
- Review peer code and technical designs for reliability, security, and efficiency.
- Triage complex system issues, analyze root causes, and implement improvements to service operations and quality.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for software development initiatives.
- Mentor engineers and contribute through documentation, training, and hiring activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus 8 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields plus 5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with advanced software development or programming, including refactoring, debugging, and data structures and algorithms.
- At least 5 years of experience with software or systems architecture for performance, reliability, and cost.
- At least 5 years of experience with data or systems analysis, system simplification, and process automation.
- At least 5 years of experience responding to large service outages and restoring service.
- At least 5 years of experience providing technical leadership through multi-year roadmaps and team milestones.
