Base Salary
$144k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and implement automated configuration and deployment processes for platform services.
- Manage administrator and service accounts, system documentation, and technical issue resolution.
- Develop scripting-based self-service capabilities within the Platform as a Service environment.
- Collaborate with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot platform and application problems.
- Own the operational support of team-managed services, including on-call customer support.
- Deliver software and platform improvements that meet user needs and enhance the product.
- Champion AI-augmented delivery practices to reduce cycle time and improve outcomes.
- Support customer site visits and program activities, with up to 25% travel as required.
Requirements
- Require 3–6 years of experience in cloud/platform operations or related roles.
- Require proficiency administering AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Require expertise with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.
- Require Linux operating system administration and scripting experience.
- Require practical experience with load balancers, DNS, SSL, firewalls, NAT, and NTP.
- Require experience troubleshooting operating systems and applications and resolving large-scale production issues.
- Require strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Require a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Require the ability to obtain a security clearance for U.S. Government work.
- Require U.S. citizenship because the role supports Federal Government customers and requires a background investigation.
- Prefer Linux/Unix command-line troubleshooting experience.
- Prefer certifications such as RHCE, Linux+, MCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, Security+, CISSP, or CCNA.
- Prefer DevOps automation experience and direct client interaction experience.
