Responsibilities
- Own and deliver technical implementations for intranet and collaboration use cases across SharePoint and Confluence.
- Lead the migration of on-premises Atlassian Data Center intranet content to the SharePoint platform.
- Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, information architecture, permissions, content models, search, and governance.
- Develop scalable intranet features and integrations such as navigation, publishing patterns, content rollups, automation, and platform-wide components.
- Build and maintain Confluence-to-SharePoint migration tooling covering content moves, metadata mapping, link integrity, redirects, and quality checks.
- Lead code reviews, establish engineering standards, improve CI/CD and operational readiness, and mentor colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or a completed software engineering apprenticeship.
- At least five years of hands-on professional experience as a senior Microsoft SharePoint Engineer or Developer.
- Deep current expertise in Microsoft SharePoint development and administration, including modern patterns and operating models in regulated environments.
- Strong experience building web solutions with TypeScript, JavaScript, modern frontend technologies, and APIs, plus secure and maintainable backend services where needed.
- Understanding of identity, permissions, and governance, with experience designing and operating access models for enterprise information platforms.
- Experience planning and delivering platform or content migrations, including tooling, validation, stakeholder communication, and incremental rollout strategies.
- Fluent English and basic German at A2 level.
- Ability to make decisions, handle ambiguity, and collaborate with business stakeholders, security, and IT operations.
