Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and optimize tailored Salesforce solutions for defense, intelligence, aerospace, and allied-government missions.
- Develop AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, automation, data integrations, and production systems using Salesforce and Agentforce.
- Design data models, processing pipelines, API integrations, and strategies for ingesting, transforming, and analyzing complex datasets.
- Integrate AI/ML models and support predictive maintenance, personnel planning, logistics, field operations, asset visibility, and command-center use cases.
- Collaborate directly with mission owners, end users, customer IT/security teams, and internal product and engineering organizations.
- Debug complex system interactions, data flows, and AI model behaviors while improving performance, reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Prototype proofs of concept and minimum viable products, gather customer feedback, and contribute to platform features, playbooks, and reusable assets.
- Support Authority to Operate and production go-lives under DoD IL5/IL6 and related regulatory frameworks.
- Travel to customer sites 25–50% of the time as needed.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or systems integration.
- Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, Java, Python, or Apex.
- Demonstrated hands-on, end-to-end delivery of high-quality, scalable production solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM technologies, including LLM integration, AI orchestration frameworks, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with data integration, API design, ETL, and AI/ML model deployment.
- Familiarity with analytics, data warehouses, and operational dashboards such as Tableau, CRM Analytics, or Snowflake.
- Experience working in or adjacent to secure environments and the ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with users, executives, engineers, and customers.
- U.S. citizen, born or naturalized, living on U.S. soil, without dual citizenship, and able to meet customer and government screening standards.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Preferred: experience supporting the DoD, Intelligence Community, or Federal Civilian agencies; defense, aerospace, military, or logistics experience; IL5/IL6/CNSS #1253 familiarity; Salesforce development or configuration experience; Salesforce Data Cloud or Agentforce experience; conversational AI experience in regulated industries; and Salesforce certifications.
