Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical advisor on customer engagements by designing, building, deploying, and optimizing tailored Salesforce solutions for defense, intelligence, and aerospace missions.
- Develop AI-powered agents and workflows using Agentforce, LLMs, AI orchestration, and prompt engineering.
- Design data models, processing pipelines, integrations, APIs, and ETL workflows for complex datasets and AI applications.
- Facilitate AI/ML model integration and automation supporting predictive maintenance, personnel planning, logistics, field operations, and asset visibility.
- Configure and develop Salesforce solutions across Government Cloud Plus, Slack, Data Cloud, and related Salesforce products.
- Debug complex system interactions, data flows, and AI model behaviors to improve performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Partner with customer IT/security teams to support Authority to Operate and production launches under DoD IL5/IL6 and other regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with Salesforce product and engineering teams to develop platform features, reusable assets, prototypes, playbooks, and technical roadmaps.
- Build proofs of concept and minimum viable products alongside client teams and iterate based on user feedback.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or systems integration.
- Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, Java, Python, or Apex.
- Professional experience delivering high-quality, scalable production solutions end to end.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, applying AI orchestration frameworks, and using prompt engineering techniques.
- Experience with data integration, API design, ETL, and AI/ML model deployment.
- Familiarity with analytics, data warehouses, and operational dashboards such as Tableau, CRM Analytics, or Snowflake.
- Experience working in or adjacent to secure environments and the ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with users, executives, engineers, and customer stakeholders.
- U.S. citizen living on U.S. soil, without dual citizenship, able to meet customer and government screening requirements.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with DoD, the Intelligence Community, Federal Civilian agencies, defense or aerospace, military/logistics operations, IL5/IL6/CNSS #1253, classified environments, Salesforce configuration and development, Data Cloud, Agentforce, conversational AI in regulated industries, and Salesforce certifications.
