Base Salary
$179k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop cloud-based solutions that meet regulatory needs and deliver customer experiences.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Provide technical leadership, establish development and design standards, and mentor engineers.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, reusable frameworks, and long-term technology strategy with architects.
- Refactor systems, reduce technical debt, and improve performance using observability and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internships.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience includes 7+ years coding with multiple listed programming languages and 3+ years with databases, cloud technologies, front-end frameworks, APIs, testing, version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with open source frameworks, infrastructure as code, AI-based coding tools, observability, mentoring engineers, and leading cross-functional or large-scale engineering initiatives.
