Base Salary
$95k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, complex cross-functional engineering projects and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Oversee software architecture, high-level designs, prototypes, proof of concepts, design reviews, development, testing, and delivery.
- Manage and mentor engineering teams, including offshore associates, through guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for critical issues to improve system reliability.
- Partner with business stakeholders to establish priorities, develop project plans, and align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
- Promote continuous improvement, technology adoption, team learning, adaptability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus 5 years of software engineering or related experience, or 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
- Extensive experience leading large-scale, cross-functional engineering projects and delivering technical solutions.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable software architectures and design artifacts.
- Strong expertise in cloud computing architecture, cloud-native solutions, and platform design and development.
- Proficiency in model-driven design and engineering design processes.
- Experience mentoring and developing engineering teams, including offshore associates.
- Strong root cause analysis, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and business collaboration skills.
