Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build reference implementations, demos, and tooling that demonstrate effective use of You.com’s APIs.
- Improve agentic results, inference cost, token usage, and performance using smaller, less expensive models.
- Ship and maintain open-source projects and integrate You.com into existing agent frameworks and developer tools.
- Represent You.com through technical writing, talks, hackathons, meetups, and panels.
- Bring developer feedback into product development and translate technical details into business value for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with modern AI and agent systems, including sound architecture and systems-design judgment.
- A public body of technical work such as an active GitHub profile, open-source projects, or widely used demos.
- Understanding of developers’ needs and experience contributing to open source or participating in hackathons, meetups, or talks.
- Ability to communicate deeply with engineers and clearly explain value to non-technical and C-level audiences.
- Business acumen and the ability to demonstrate return on investment are preferred.
