Responsibilities
- Contribute to the tech stack by writing typesafe Ruby and Rails code.
- Build performant Kotlin microservices and manage Spark clusters.
- Develop and manage a data diffing ETL engine across various data warehouses.
- Participate in on-call rotations to diagnose and fix performance issues.
- Collaborate with product teams to design new features for data pipeline observability.
Requirements
- Expertise in at least one interpreted language such as Python or Ruby on Rails.
- Proficiency in at least one compiled language like C++, Kotlin, or Java.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and experience with data warehousing solutions is a bonus.
- Proven experience in system integration, including API development.
- Familiarity with cloud providers like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
