Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, integrate, debug, validate, and support embedded software for DLP Controllers and associated peripherals.
- Develop operating system software, device drivers, software frameworks, algorithmic libraries, development tools, and embedded applications.
- Collaborate with controller, silicon, hardware, FPGA, algorithms, applications, field, and customer teams to define requirements and influence system decisions.
- Create unit, system, regression, and automated test plans and scripts; analyze failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Support pre-silicon design, software validation, quality assurance, code coverage, configuration management, and software releases.
- Create design documentation, customer collateral, application guides, and user guides.
- Provide customer and applications-team support and maintain existing software platforms.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry experience developing software for embedded devices.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, or computer science and engineering.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience developing and deploying applications on embedded platforms.
- Knowledge of hardware, including the ability to read schematics and use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other laboratory equipment.
- Strong software debugging, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and independent execution skills.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded RTOS experience, Python scripting, Git, static code analysis, automated testing, image processing, functional safety and ISO 26262/HARA, Automotive ASPICE, MISRA C, dynamic analysis, and DFMEA.
