Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction and complex design decisions for shared AI platform products across multiple engineering squads.
- Design and improve capabilities including the AI Control Plane, Model Garden, Agent Builder, RAG, evaluation, observability, and guardrails.
- Establish reusable engineering patterns and reference implementations across application, AI, API, data, and platform layers.
- Translate security, risk, and Responsible AI requirements into practical engineering controls.
- Improve platform reliability, performance, and production readiness.
- Coach engineers and raise technical capability across the broader team.
Requirements
- Experience delivering production platform, data, or AI services in a large enterprise environment and leading complex technical decisions across multiple squads.
- Deep expertise in API design, distributed systems, systems integration, and testing.
- Strong cloud-native and DevOps experience with containers, continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure as code, telemetry, and secrets management.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS and Azure, including Kubernetes, networking, and identity at enterprise scale.
- Experience with LLM applications, agentic workflows, RAG, AI evaluation, or observability is desirable.
- Experience with Python, FastAPI, OpenTelemetry, developer platforms, SDKs, or reusable engineering pathways is valuable.
