Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction, roadmap, and strategy for squad products and services.
- Design and implement platform services and support tools across Windows and macOS environments.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and infrastructure that are safe, repeatable, and observable.
- Provide expert-level operational support aligned with SLAs and incident management processes.
- Improve the Standard Operating Environment and related tooling, including AI-enabled engineering tools.
- Define engineering standards and patterns while mentoring engineers and influencing teams across the domain.
Requirements
- Experience with full-lifecycle platform engineering across Windows and macOS environments.
- Backend development experience with .NET, Java, or TypeScript and scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, DevSecOps practices, AWS, infrastructure as code, and containerisation.
- Knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, domain-driven design, and identity and access management platforms.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, set direction, mentor engineers, and integrate risk, security, and resilience into engineering decisions.
