Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade AI/ML systems and agentic applications end to end.
- Develop multi-agent systems, APIs, services, RAG pipelines, and scalable cloud-native solutions.
- Implement model and application evaluation, tracing, metrics, dashboards, and other observability capabilities.
- Optimize latency, caching, retrieval, and overall system performance.
- Deploy models, agents, and applications through CI/CD processes.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate complex development tasks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building production systems and applications, including AI/ML applications.
- At least 2 years of experience developing generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG frameworks, and vector stores.
- Experience developing APIs and services with FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and cloud services including Bedrock/AI Foundry, SageMaker/AI Studio, EKS/ECS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph and Strands, including tool or function calling patterns.
- Experience implementing observability with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or CloudWatch and building performance metrics dashboards.
- Experience using Copilot, Codex, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted coding tools for complex development tasks.
- Experience deploying models, agents, or applications via CI/CD.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM field.
- Preferred: experience supporting Department of War or other federal mission environments, advanced agentic patterns, chatbot or agent-to-agent development, Databricks or Snowflake, and large data processing pipelines.
- Preferred: master’s degree.
