Base Salary
$180k - $440k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, design, and manage security architecture for Azure Government and Commercial deployments.
- Configure and optimize Microsoft Defender for Cloud and related services for threat detection and response.
- Design and enforce identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID and related tools.
- Secure network architectures with Azure Firewall and other security services.
- Protect data at rest and in transit using Azure Key Vault and encryption strategies.
- Develop and maintain security policies and blueprints for compliance.
- Perform threat hunting and incident response using Sentinel and KQL queries.
- Conduct security reviews of Infrastructure as Code and serverless workloads.
- Collaborate with developers to implement DevSecOps practices.
- Monitor and remediate security findings to improve overall security posture.
- Deploy configurations and compliance policies to Azure AVD endpoints.
Requirements
- Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security or cybersecurity engineering with a focus on Azure.
- Deep hands-on expertise with core Azure security services.
- Strong understanding of DLP implementation in cloud and on endpoints.
- Experience implementing security in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of identity federation and zero-trust principles.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
